Almost all of my clients first questions are "What do I wear for my boudoir photo shoot?" Besides photographing my clients this is the next favorite of mine is helping them design their wardrobe for the shoot. I'll tell you straight off that NOT all lingeries photograph the same nor do they all photograph well.
In today's fashion, there is no shortage of lingerie styles being offered in the market. From the barely there lingerie pieces to the full coverage of a bodysuit. It is always key to identify the personality and comfort level of the person I will be photographing. This helps me to pick pieces that will show her personality, accentuate her features and beauty and look timeless.

There are a lot of variables I consider when picking lingerie for my clients from their hair color, skin tone, body type, personality to the type of lighting I will be using for the shoot. One of the questions I ask my clients the most are "If you were a lingerie, what kind of lingerie are you?", I know it sounds silly but you will be amazed how a simple question like that helps me design your wardrobe. Why, you ask? For each type of lingerie in itself has its own character if you must for example movement, shape, mood and comfort.
